Now, we have a modern delivery model tailored to the needs and wants of today鈥檚 students: the affordable access approach, which bundles course materials with tuition. It delivers a range of benefits across the student journey, starting with preparation for the first day of class and ending with better performance and retention. It鈥檚 quickly becoming the status quo nationwide for institutions championing student success.

It鈥檚 simple: students need their course materials by the first day of class. If they鈥檙e delayed because they鈥檙e looking for deals, trying to find materials to borrow, or waiting for financial aid disbursement, they鈥檙e at a disadvantage from the very start of term.

Bundling course materials is more convenient for all students, whether they鈥檝e always purchased from the campus store or they鈥檝e tried to find what they need through other channels. Now, students simply get all their required materials.

These programs create greater volume, which adds up to big savings for students 鈥 an average of 35-50% per semester. And they enjoy those savings while receiving personalized, concierge service.

Students participating in our First Day Complete affordable access program tell us that it鈥檚 supporting their success in measurable ways.
After the Spring 2021 term, we surveyed students at colleges and universities nationwide about the program and its impact. Nearly two-thirds (62%) said the program helped them achieve better grades, and feedback overall was extremely positive 鈥 especially in historically underserved student populations.
